About Position: The Enterprise AI Architect will lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions for large-scale enterprise programs. This role requires a strong blend of AI strategy, cloud-native architecture, Responsible AI principles, and deep technical expertise across data, AI platforms, and enterprise systems. The architect will work closely with global client stakeholders, data teams, engineering leads, and business owners to translate complex business needs into secure, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions, while providing architectural leadership to offshore teams. Role: AI Architect Location: Pune Experience: 15 to 20 years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Define enterprise AI reference architectures encompassing GenAI, ML, Agentic AI, data, and integrations Translate business use cases into AI solution blueprints, target-state architectures, and roadmaps Drive AI operating model alignment across governance, platforms, tools, and cross-functional teams Architect GenAI solutions using LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and LLaMA Design Agentic AI workflows integrating enterprise tools, APIs, business processes, and enterprise data Implement RAG architectures, prompt orchestration, knowledge graphs, and multi-agent patterns Define fallback mechanisms, observability, traceability, and human?in?the?loop controls Architect AI platforms on Azure, AWS, or GCP using cloud-native and hybrid deployment models Define AI-ready data architectures, including data lakes, vector stores, feature stores, lineage, and metadata Ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications like ERP, LIMS, CRM, PLM, MES, and APIs Guide MLOps/LLMOps including CI/CD, model lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and cost controls Embed Responsible AI principles including security, privacy, bias mitigation, and explainability Ensure compliance with GxP, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements Define governance workflows and AI risk management frameworks Provide architectural leadership to offshore development, data, and quality engineering teams Review and approve solution designs to ensure compliance with enterprise standards Mentor architects and senior engineers as a technical thought leader Support presales, solutioning, PoCs, architecture reviews, and client workshops Expertise You'll Bring: 12-18+ years of total experience with a strong foundation in enterprise architecture Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI/ML or GenAI solution architecture Proven experience designing and delivering production-grade AI platforms Hands-on expertise with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMA) Strong experience with RAG, Agentic AI, orchestration frameworks, knowledge graphs, and vector databases Deep understanding of ML pipelines, feature stores, model evaluation, and data governance Proficiency with Azure, AWS, or GCP AI and data services Solid understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization for AI workloads Experience creating architecture diagrams, decision records, and enterprise reference models Strong understanding of enterprise security, identity, and access management Experience in regulated domains (Life Sciences, Healthcare, BFSI preferred) Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, C4, or ArchiMate Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive presentations Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into AI outcomes Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards Annual health check-ups Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment: Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
