About Position: We are looking for a skilled SOC Analyst with 2 to 5 years of experience in Cloud Security, Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across enterprise cloud and on-premise environments. Role: Programmer (Dev) – SOC Analyst Location: Pune Experience: 2 to 5 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and incidents using SIEM platforms. Investigate suspicious activities, security breaches, and potential cyber threats across cloud and enterprise environments. Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and support incident response activities. Monitor cloud security controls and identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps. Collaborate with security architects, DevOps teams, and application teams to improve security posture. Analyze logs from network, application, infrastructure, and cloud environments. Support threat hunting activities and proactively identify potential security risks. Develop and maintain security use cases, alerts, dashboards, and monitoring rules. Perform security reviews, assessments, and validation of security controls. Support vulnerability management and remediation initiatives. Document security incidents, investigation findings, and remediation recommendations. Assist in implementing security best practices across cloud and application environments. Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and governance activities. Contribute to automation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SOC team. Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and security technologies. Expertise You'll Bring: 2 to 5 years of experience in Security Operations, SOC Monitoring, or Cyber Security roles. Strong hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms. Knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments. Experience analyzing security events, logs, alerts, and incident investigations. Understanding of security concepts including network security, identity management, endpoint security, and application security. Experience with threat detection, incident response, and security operations processes. Familiarity with security monitoring tools and vulnerability management solutions. Understanding of security frameworks, policies, standards, and compliance requirements. Knowledge of cyber attack techniques, threat vectors, and mitigation strategies. Experience with log analysis, event correlation, and security alert triage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience working within Agile and cross-functional engineering teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong documentation, stakeholder collaboration, and reporting abilities.
