About Position: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud engineering, Terraform, cloud automation, and enterprise cloud governance. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can independently design, build, and optimize cloud environments while driving infrastructure automation, security, compliance, and cloud modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, and cloud governance frameworks. You will play a critical role in building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms while partnering with DevOps, security, and application teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Role: Senior Cloud Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 8 to 12 Years Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. Architect and implement enterprise cloud platforms from the ground up using AWS best practices. Define and establish cloud governance frameworks covering security, compliance, operational controls, and cost optimization. Design and implement AWS networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and connectivity architectures. Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, EKS, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, and related platform services. Drive cloud automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes. Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud and application deployments. Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives across enterprise workloads. Implement and maintain Kubernetes-based container platforms and microservices architectures. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions. Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical recommendations for scalability, performance, and resilience improvements. Monitor cloud environments and implement observability, logging, alerting, and operational excellence practices. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and platform-related issues. Implement security controls, IAM policies, encryption standards, and compliance requirements. Create and maintain architecture documentation, cloud standards, operational procedures, and technical runbooks. Mentor engineers and drive cloud engineering best practices across teams. Expertise You'll Bring: 8-12 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering. Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and services. Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, automation, and lifecycle management. Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EKS, RDS, Route53, and CloudWatch. Proven experience designing enterprise-scale cloud architectures and landing zones. Strong understanding of cloud governance, security frameworks, compliance requirements, and operational controls. Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud engineering best practices. Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar technologies. Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms. Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application design principles. Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and transformation programs. Strong understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and hybrid cloud connectivity. Experience implementing monitoring, logging, observability, and incident management frameworks. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in complex cloud environments. Experience working with enterprise security standards and cloud compliance requirements. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills. Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives across large-scale environments.
