About Position: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of development experience to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and a proven ability to navigate complex codebases. You will play a critical role in enhancing our software solutions and driving innovation through the use of advanced coding tools and methodologies. Role: Senior Software Engineer Location: Bengaluru Experience: 8 to 12 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java 17 and above. Analyze and investigate existing codebases to identify transformation logic and improve application performance. Utilize AI coding assistants, including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, to enhance coding efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and present findings to application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Facilitate validation meetings to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical specifications. Break down complex business flows, understand dependencies, and investigate discrepancies to deliver effective solutions. Expertise You'll Bring: Strong experience in Java 17 and above. Proficiency in SQL. Code investigation skills, including the ability to analyze unfamiliar codebases quickly. Experience with AI coding assistants, specifically Claude Code and GitHub Copilot. Strong analytical skills to break down complex business flows and understand dependencies. Excellent communication skills to present findings and facilitate meetings with application SMEs. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to quickly understand complex application architectures and business processes. Experience working with enterprise-scale software applications. Strong understanding of software development best practices and coding standards. Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Strong commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. Passion for technology and staying updated with industry trends and best practices. Ability to make a significant impact through technical expertise and collaborative problem-solving.
