About Position: We are looking for an experienced Infra Deployment Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Linux Administration, and Windows Server Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, deploying, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud platforms. This role requires hands-on experience in infrastructure provisioning, server deployments, cloud operations, application onboarding, and environment readiness activities while collaborating with Architecture, DevOps, Network, Security, and IAM teams. Role: Deployment Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 5 to 8 years Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure environments across private and public cloud platforms, including AWS. Provision and manage Linux and Windows servers supporting enterprise applications and services. Execute infrastructure deployment activities for customer onboarding, application rollouts, upgrades, and migrations. Validate environment readiness including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations. Support infrastructure automation and standardization initiatives using deployment and configuration management tools. Perform infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting within AWS environments. Manage virtual machines, storage services, load balancers, and networking components. Support hybrid cloud deployments integrating on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD deployment requirements and infrastructure integration. Support deployment and maintenance of Progress OpenEdge and other relational database platforms. Assist in application environment configuration and middleware integrations. Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment issues and resolve system-related incidents. Act as a technical escalation point for deployment and environment readiness challenges. Participate in maintenance activities, platform upgrades, and disaster recovery exercises. Create and maintain deployment documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks, and environment readiness checklists. Expertise You'll Bring: 5 to 8 years of experience in infrastructure deployment, cloud operations, and platform administration. Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration. Experience working with AWS Cloud Services including EC2, VPC, EBS, IAM, Elastic Load Balancers, and Cloud Monitoring services. Experience deploying and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud platforms. Strong understanding of server provisioning, operating system administration, and environment management. Good understanding of server virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and firewall concepts. Experience with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Knowledge of storage technologies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery practices. Experience supporting Progress OpenEdge and other relational database platforms. Experience with application deployment, environment management, and middleware integrations. Exposure to middleware technologies such as Boomi is preferred. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. Experience supporting hybrid cloud and multi-platform environments. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure integration practices. Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills. Experience collaborating with Network, Security, IAM, DevOps, and Architecture teams. Strong documentation skills including SOPs, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and validation procedures. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills. Ability to manage multiple deployment activities simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Strong ownership mindset with focus on quality, operational stability, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery. Team-oriented approach with the ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
