About Position: We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in RTOS, Embedded C/C++, Bluetooth technologies, and low-level firmware development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software solutions for real-time systems, wireless communication platforms, and audio-focused devices. This role requires strong expertise in RTOS concepts, Qualcomm platforms, embedded debugging, and hardware-software integration. Role: Embedded Software Engineer Location: Bengaluru Experience: 5 to 8 years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C and C++. Develop real-time applications on RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS and similar operating systems. Implement and optimize task scheduling, synchronization mechanisms, and inter-process communication. Develop and maintain Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality. Implement chipset-specific features and enhancements for Qualcomm platforms. Work on low-level device drivers and hardware abstraction layers. Integrate wireless technologies, audio subsystems, and communication protocols. Develop and optimize interrupt handling and deferred processing mechanisms. Perform system debugging, fault analysis, and performance optimization. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams for end-to-end product development. Build, test, and validate embedded applications using modern build systems and toolchains. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture improvements. Troubleshoot field issues and support product releases. Expertise You'll Bring: 5-8 years of experience in Embedded Software Development. Strong hands-on expertise in Embedded C and C++ programming. Deep understanding of memory management and low-level software optimization. Experience working with RTOS concepts including: Task Scheduling Semaphores Mutexes Message Queues Memory Pools Priority Inversion Handling Hands-on experience with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS platforms. Strong understanding of Interrupt Service Routines (ISRs) and concurrency mechanisms. Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Bluetooth Classic technologies. Knowledge of Qualcomm S7 / S7 Pro Gen platforms or Qualcomm chipset architectures. Experience with ARM Cortex-M or similar microcontroller architectures. Hands-on experience with communication protocols: I2C SPI UART USB I2S / PCM Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using: Oscilloscopes Logic Analyzers JTAG/SWD Debuggers Crash Dump Analysis Experience with build systems such as CMake and Make. Knowledge of cross-compilation toolchains and embedded development workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
