Marcom’s Digital Asset Management system (DAM) serves as the backbone repository of all in progress and completed assets used in Apple Marketing. Digital Asset Management focuses on developing a deep knowledge of Marcom's content development processes for a diverse portfolio of digital assets at massive scale. Using this knowledge and extensive experience with enterprise digital asset management, implement and evangelize solutions which will streamline Marcom's content management workflow. A key part of the job Is understanding end-to-end business processes in the Asset Management realm and implement solutions that meet these business needs. We are seeking a hands-on manager with end-to-end experience building and managing distributed applications at scale. Prior experience with Digital Asset Management platforms is highly preferred. You've grown into leadership after proving your technical skills as an individual contributor, and you still enjoy rolling up your sleeves when the situation calls for it.\u2028
Requirements
["8+ years of experience including at least 2 years of management experience leading engineers", "5+ years of demonstrable experience building and maintaining large scale, distributed systems", "Demonstrable experience with Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, Micro-service architecture and NoSQL DBs", "Preferred: Solid knowledge of secure coding practices and hands-on experience with open source technologies.", "Preferred: Experience implementing SAAS/third-party products and building/deploying APIs for Digital Asset Management Systems.", "Preferred: Ability to conduct performance analysis and resolve production issues in large-scale distributed systems.", "Preferred: Hands-on manager who leads by example to motivate and challenge the team to deliver their best.", "Preferred: Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.", "Preferred: Comfortable with ambiguity — able to focus themselves and the team, and drive forward progress.", "Preferred: Adept at prioritizing multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment, with experience in Agile methodologies and continuous software delivery.", "Preferred: Highly proactive with both systems and people — anticipates needs and identifies where the team might struggle."]
