Requirements
["Perceiving Undergrad or Graduate in any Engineering field preferred in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Thermal Sciences (or related field)", "Foundation in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics", "Familiarity with thermal/CFD analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM or equivalent)", "Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX) and mechanical design practices", "Foundation in rocket propulsion systems, combustion processes, and high-temperature materials is a plus", "Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail"]
Roles & responsibilities
["Perform thermal analysis of rocket structures and propulsion systems using analytical and simulation tools", "Conduct heat transfer, fluid flow, and thermo-mechanical coupling studies to ensure structural integrity under extreme environments", "Collaborate with propulsion, structural, and systems engineering teams to integrate thermal requirements into overall rocket design", "Support the design and validation of thermal control hardware, including heat exchangers, cooling channels, and insulation materials", "Support ground testing and hot-fire engine tests with pre-test analysis and post-test data evaluation", "Document analysis and verification results in accordance with aerospace engineering standards"]
