About Position: We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Zscaler SASE/SSE technologies to design, deploy, and support secure access solutions across enterprise environments. The role involves implementing Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Client Connector, Zero Trust security controls, VPN modernization initiatives, and cloud-delivered security services to enhance organizational security and user experience. Role: Network Security Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 8 to 12 Years Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: Deploy and configure Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions. Implement and manage Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) deployments across enterprise environments. Execute pilot deployments, testing, and phased production rollouts. Support migration from legacy VPN and proxy solutions to Zscaler SASE architecture. Configure authentication, traffic forwarding, policy enforcement, and access controls. Participate in architecture reviews, solution design discussions, and deployment planning activities. Configure and manage URL Filtering, SSL Inspection, Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Cloud Firewall, DNS Security, Cloud Sandbox, and Bandwidth Controls. Implement secure internet breakout and Zero Trust access architectures. Configure and manage ZPA App Connectors, App Segments, Server Groups, Connector Groups, and Access Policies. Support application onboarding into Zero Trust environments and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Configure and support CASB, DLP, Cloud Firewall, Browser Isolation, SaaS Security Controls, and Device Posture Checks. Integrate Zscaler solutions with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, and ITSM platforms. Configure SAML, OAuth, and identity-based authentication and authorization policies. Configure GRE tunnels, IPSec tunnels, PAC files, traffic forwarding rules, and SSL decryption policies. Troubleshoot network connectivity, application access, authentication, SSL inspection, and traffic steering issues. Conduct packet capture analysis and network troubleshooting activities. Provide L2/L3 support for Zscaler services and collaborate with Zscaler TAC for escalated issues. Monitor platform health, availability, and security posture. Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, operational guides, and technical documentation. Support change management, security operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Expertise You'll Bring: 5 to 8 years of experience in Network Security, SASE, SSE, or Secure Access technologies. Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA). Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). Experience deploying and managing Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC). Expertise in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Security Service Edge (SSE) architectures. Strong understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles and implementation. Experience configuring URL Filtering, SSL Inspection, Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud Firewall, DNS Security, and Cloud Sandbox. Knowledge of CASB, DLP, Browser Isolation, and SaaS security controls. Experience deploying and managing App Connectors, App Segments, Connector Groups, and Access Policies within ZPA environments. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, IPSec, GRE, Routing, and Switching. Experience with Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and web security technologies. Knowledge of threat protection, traffic steering, authentication, and policy enforcement mechanisms. Experience integrating Zscaler with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, SAML, and OAuth-based identity platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, and enterprise security integrations. Experience working in Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience conducting packet captures and network traffic analysis. Knowledge of operational support, monitoring, incident management, and change management processes. Experience creating technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles. Strong stakeholder communication and customer-facing skills. Zscaler Certified Administrator (ZIA) certification preferred. ZPA Certified Administrator certification preferred. Zscaler Zero Trust Certified Associate (ZTCA) certification preferred. Zscaler Zero Trust Certified Architect certification is an added advantage. CCNA, CCNP Security, Security+, or equivalent certifications are desirable. Exposure to Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Cisco Umbrella, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, ServiceNow, Splunk, and Datadog is a plus.
