About Position: We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise data and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing platform capabilities that support data engineering, cloud-native solutions, DevOps practices, and enterprise modernization initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in cloud technologies, data engineering, platform architecture, and automation, along with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions. Role:Platform Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 2-5 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Design, develop, and implement scalable data platforms and cloud-native solutions to support business needs. Build and maintain enterprise data architectures, data pipelines, and data integration frameworks. Implement data quality management practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and application development teams to understand data requirements and deliver platform solutions. Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes for efficient data ingestion and transformation. Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, scalability, and reliability. Implement monitoring, observability, and automation frameworks across platform environments. Support platform modernization initiatives and cloud migration projects. Establish best practices for platform engineering, governance, security, and operational excellence. Automate deployment, provisioning, and operational processes using DevOps principles and tools. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform improvements and innovations. Troubleshoot platform issues and drive continuous performance optimization. Contribute to architecture discussions, technical roadmaps, and strategic platform initiatives. Expertise You'll Bring: 2-5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related fields. Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing. Experience implementing and managing enterprise data platforms and large-scale data ecosystems. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud security, networking, and infrastructure services. Experience with data quality management, data validation, data integration, and governance practices. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, querying, and performance optimization. Strong Python programming skills for automation, scripting, and data processing. Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and distributed data processing frameworks. Familiarity with IBM DataPower appliances is an added advantage. Understanding of machine learning concepts and data platform requirements supporting AI/ML workloads. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software delivery practices. Understanding of network security, data protection, and enterprise security best practices. Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams is highly desirable.
