About Position: We are seeking an OTT Solution Architect with 8?12 years of experience in full-stack application development, media streaming platforms, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture and design of OTT and digital media platforms, driving technical strategy, scalability, content delivery optimization, monetization solutions, and engineering best practices across multiple streaming ecosystems. Role: Solution Architect Location: Bengaluru Experience: 8 to 12 years Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: Design and architect scalable OTT and media streaming platforms using React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL, and Microservices. Define end-to-end architecture for content ingestion, metadata management, entitlement, subscription management, playback services, monetization, and content delivery workflows. Design and optimize video streaming solutions supporting HLS, MPEG-DASH, Adaptive Bitrate Streaming (ABR), low-latency streaming, video player integration, and playback optimization. Architect solutions for Roku, Smart TVs, Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Set-Top Boxes (STBs), Web, and Mobile platforms. Define CDN strategies, caching mechanisms, content delivery optimization approaches, buffering mitigation techniques, and network-aware streaming solutions. Lead the design and implementation of DRM and content protection frameworks, including Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay, geofencing, entitlement management, and secure content distribution. Architect AdTech and monetization solutions including Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI), ad delivery workflows, analytics, audience targeting, and subscription-based revenue models. Design cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS and Azure, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability frameworks, and high-availability design patterns. Drive system design for large-scale distributed platforms including API gateway patterns, event-driven architecture, scalability, reliability, resiliency, and fault tolerance. Establish architecture governance, technical standards, solution review processes, and technology roadmaps. Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Mentor engineering teams, promote code quality standards, and drive adoption of architecture best practices across the organization. Expertise You'll Bring: 8?12 years of experience in Full-Stack Development, Solution Architecture, and Distributed Systems Design. Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL, Microservices, and Full-Stack architecture. Deep understanding of OTT and Media platform ecosystems, including content ingestion, metadata management, entitlements, subscriptions, playback systems, monetization, and content delivery. Hands-on experience with video streaming technologies including HLS, MPEG-DASH, Adaptive Bitrate Streaming (ABR), low-latency streaming, and video player integrations. Experience architecting solutions for Roku, Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Smart TVs, STBs, Mobile, and Web platforms. Strong knowledge of CDN architecture, caching strategies, content delivery optimization, and streaming performance tuning. Expertise in DRM technologies including Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay, geofencing, secure content distribution, and entitlement management. Experience designing and implementing AdTech ecosystems, SSAI solutions, ad monetization platforms, audience targeting frameworks, and analytics integrations. Strong cloud architecture experience with AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and cloud-native application design. Expertise in distributed systems architecture, API gateways, event-driven architecture, messaging systems, scalability, reliability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant platforms. Experience defining architecture governance frameworks, conducting design reviews, establishing coding standards, and driving technology modernization initiatives. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills. Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering large-scale enterprise or OTT transformation programs.
